  We came up from our Naples trip for our first visit to the island for a few nights. It was Tuesday evening around 7pm after watching a beautiful sunset decided to stop in to have dinner as the restaurant was mostly empty with only one third of the tables occupied so we thought we might get a nice table. The hostess greeted us and we asked for seating for two. She looked at the reservation list and indicated all the tables were booked, however, she could seat us in the bar. It was not the nice romantic location we were looking for as the bar was loud, cool, cramped and not very pleasant even though there were only 5 guests in there. We debated leaving to eat elsewhere, but did opt to stay. We decided to get appetizers and salads to share instead of the full meal. The food was very good and was worth going for. I remain puzzled as to why we were seated in the corner of the very small bar and not in the main restaurant. My wife and I went to the restroom a couple of times during our hour and a half stay and while the restaurant did get busier there were still a third to half the tables in the restaurant that were empty for the entire time we were there. I was very disappointed to have that as our first experience there.
